Computers will replace teachers in the future сочинение

Computers are being used more and more in education and so there will soon be no role for the teacher in education. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

machinery cannot dominate education

In the age of modern technology, there has been immense advances in technology in most aspects of lives, particularly education. Many people are of the opinion that one day teachers will be obsolete in the classroom. I affirm that educator’s position is irreplaceable in this area.

Some people hold a belief that the role of teacher in the classroom starts to fade, giving place to computers for several reasons. First, there are a number of fundamental subjects which are able to be taught by computers. Pupils can do assignments and get answers easily using computers in some areas such as maths and languages as these subjects only require students to memorize the information through a process of repetition. As a result, programmed-computers can provide a multitude of questions and answers to students to handle with. However, this hinders the interaction between students and educators.

All things considered, teachers still play a pivotal role in the classroom. Firstly, teacher can instruct and stretch students how to analyze and synthetize information efficiently and then give them appropriate feedbacks. Meanwhile, a computer is not adequate to evaluate mistakes or provide expanded concepts which are essential to enhance students’ learning proficiency. Secondly, teachers can support students to develop other vital skills. A prime example is that through classroom activites designed and monitored by teachers, students can foster their critical thinking skill, creativity and team-work performance. Besides, teachers create motivations by honoring the academic achievements of the students.

In conclusion, technology will not bring the best values into education system if we marginalize the role of teachers. Education is a crucial mission that machinery cannot dominate in any time. It would be much more efficient for us to use a computer with the teacher’s guidance in the classroom.

Hello!

Firstly, I think this is the start of a really good essay. However, I think there are a lot of holes in your argument. A better way to structure the essay may be to list a reason why people believe computers are better, and then give your opinion as to why that reason is not a good idea.

For example,
*Pupils can do assignments … process of repetition* However, having a teacher walk each student through the problem they are having can help them better understand any areas they are having difficulty. A computer is unable to properly identify the issue each individual student might have.

By doing this, you can make your argument stronger, and more persuasive.

Secondly, there are some areas that just needed a little edit. Some might just be writing style preferences, but mostly grammar points~

1. I affirm that the educator’s … in this area the classroom.
2. … the role of the teacher starts is starting to fade OR Some people hold a belief that the teachers role is starting to fade . . .
3. … and answers tofor students to handle with.
4. Firstly, teachers can instruct and stretch students. . . *I don’t know what you mean by stretch, this doesn’t really make sense*
5. how to analyze and synthetize. . . *I’d just say «How to analyze information»* *Synthetize doesn’t match this sentence*
4&5: Firstly, teacher can instruct and stretch … -> Firstly, teachers can instruct students how to analyze information efficiently, and then give …
6. critical thinking skills,
7. Besides, teachers create motivations … -> Teachers also motivate students by recognizing their academic achievements.
8. … values into our education system
9. … for us to use a computer with the teacher’s … **This doesn’t match your argument**

…, particularly in education. … the opinion that one day teachers will be obsolete in the classroom computer will make teachers virtually obsolete. However, I affirm totally disagree with that false …

Computer will replace teachers in the future.

I agree with the statement, that computer will replace teachers and there are a few reasons why I think so.

Firstly, nowadays you don’t have to go to school to get an education or some skills. As we can see, an increasing number of people have begun to work and study at home on their computers because they find it more convenient and often more effective. The teacher can’t give you the same information that the internet can offer.

Secondly, there is a big problem why a small number of people want to work as a teacher. There are a lot of reasons, but we need to understand, that the school teacher profession may soon disappear.

At the end, technology isn’t standing still, especially computer technology is growing very quickly and it’s the reason why computer will replace teachers very soon.

There have been immense advances in technology in most aspects of people’s lives, especially in the field of education. Nowadays, an increasing number of students rely on computers for research and to produce a perfect paper for school purposes. Others have decided to leave the original way of learning and to get knowledge through online schools. These changes in the learning process have brought a special concern regarding the possible decrease of importance of teachers in the classroom. Some people believe the role of teachers started to fade because computers have been helping some students to progress in their studies quicker compared to studies in an original classroom. For example, in the same classroom, students have different intellectual capacities, thus some would be tied to a slow advance in their studies because of others’ incapability of understanding. In this way, pupils could progress in their acquisition of knowledge at their own pace using computers instead of learning from teachers.

However, the presence of a teacher is essential for students because the human contact influences them in positive ways. Firstly, students realize that they are not dealing with a machine but with a human being who deserves attention and respect. They also learn the importance of studying in a group and respect for other students, which helps them improve their social skills.

Moreover, teachers are required in the learning process because they acknowledge some students’ deficiencies and help them to solve their problems by repeating the same explanation, giving extra exercises or even suggesting a private tutor. Hence, students can have a better chance of avoiding a failure in a subject. In conclusion, the role for teachers in the learning process is still very important and it will continue to be such in the future because no machine can replace the human interaction and its consequences.

As computers are being used more and more in education, there will be soon no role for teachers in the classroom.

This is a great essay. Seems worthy of Band 8. No improvements are necessary, keep up the good work!

Computers today can be defined as a technological discovery which has amazed the world as a whole by minimizing the whole planet and its information within itself.

Students today can find all their study materials and the answer to all their queries online. It is today estimated that a day will come when computers will abolish the teachers and the teaching system as a whole.

So the big question is can computers really replace teachers. After giving it a strict thought, the answer is no. Yes it is true that all the study material is available online and that too properly explained. But the fact remains a computer is just an electronic machine devoid of any emotions while a teacher is a human being and has emotions.

When a teacher teaches a student, there is a mutual involvement on both sides whereas when a child learns from a computer there is an involvement from the side of the student only. When we ask the solution to a problem, the computer has fixed set of a few answers and it cannot answer anything beyond that particular solution. If you ask any further questions, you will get only one reply “request not found”.

Whereas when an individual asks a teacher any question she can answer it easily. Apart from the mutual involvement factor, when an individual learns anything from a teacher he or she has no other option but to understand the topic fully because when the teacher asks a question, no excuses can be made.

On the other hand, if an individual learns from a computer, there will be no obligation upon him or her to understand the subject matter seriously. That individual will leave the learning for the future and that future will never arrive. We all are aware of the fact that until and unless we are given a deadline to complete a task we seldom try to complete it. A very few individuals are there who can do their work without being obliged to do so. There is actually an emotional bonding between a teacher and a student and there are some students who need special care and attention. Not all students can be taught easily.

If computers can replace teachers then a day might also come when an individual will not even require his or her family; after all such tasks can be performed by machines also. There are some things in life which cannot be replaced with other things. The most important among these are emotions of love, care and affection.

However technologically advanced we become; there are some things in life that cannot be replaced. A teacher’s way of teaching can never be replaced by computers but online teaching can become successful with every passing day.

Nowadays there are a lot of technologies. They are everywhere: at the buses, at schools. We use them everyday and some people start to believe that computers will replace teachers soon. Is it true or not?

In my opinion, computers cannot replace teachers. Firstly, kids will go to school for a long time and they need someone who teach them. Secondly, teachers do not give only school program. They study kids about kind and now to solve life problems. Finally, teachers can explain you what you do not understand and maybe tell you some more information about that.

However, there are some people who have a different point of view. They strongly believe that a computer can easily replace a teacher because there are a lot of information on the Internet and for pupils it is more comfortable to study at home without teacher.

As for me, I cannot agree with this point of view because not for every pupil it is more comfortable to study without teachers and at school teachers give only that information which students will need in the future.

To sum up, I would like to say that teachers play a big role in everyone’s love and no one can replace them.

As computers are being used more and more in education, there will be soon no role for teachers in the classroom. Discuss.

Automation has become a part of our everyday life. In fact it is now widely used in the field of teaching. Some people believe that computers will replace human instructors in the near future. However, in my opinion, this will not happen because physical presence of the instructor in the class room is important for effective teaching and learning.

A teacher who is present in the classroom can easily understand whether the students are learning the topic at the current pace or any alteration in the teaching method is required. He or she can also figure out which students require more attention. For instance, my friend Samir was weak in his studies. Our science teacher often gave him special attention to keep him on the track. This could not have been possible if the teacher was not present in the classroom.

Interactive sessions during teaching are also equally important. Any doubts in the student’s mind are readily resolved during such sessions because they can ask questions and get answers instantly. For example, I was not good at mathematics while doing my graduation. Hence, I would note down all my doubts during the class. After the regular class hours, I would approach my professor with my doubts. Those direct interactive sessions with my teacher improved my grades.

On the other hand, a computer can only teach. It cannot figure out whether students have grasped the concepts or not. Not all students in a class are of the same intellectual level. Some learn fast while others require more attention. A computer will give the same attention to all students. This can affect the performance of poor students.

To conclude, a computer may be faster than a human being, but it is not more intelligent. It cannot replace human instructors in the classroom because of its inherent shortcomings. Automation has its limits and I don’t expect computers to replace human teachers in the near future.
