1. обнаружить и своевременно скорректировать пробелы в знаниях;
2. быстро ориентироваться в заданиях подобного типа;
текста, требованиям к уровню знаний;
4. выработать продуктивную схему работы над подобным заданием;

GHOST STORY
There is a strange storywhich is heard in Khanty-Mansiysk. It’s about a
man called Matvey, who tried 0 unsuccessfully to make a living as an
artist. When he finally realized that he was never going to make ends
meet, he decided to find a job which seemed less

One night he boarded a rather empty bus and noticed an oddly dressed
couple sitting at the end of the bus. It was difficult to work out what the
2……………… between the couple might be – they could have been
mother and son. The man washolding a strange thing 3……………..
toMatvey. When he asked them if they were in 4…………….. of a valid
ticket, he received no reply. Matvey became very 5…………………. He
couldn’t understand why they paid no attention to him. He knew that he
was a very 6………………… man, and his friends often commented on
his outgoing 7…………………. . Perhaps there was something about him
they had taken a dislike to? Suddenly the bus stopped. A glance out of the
window revealed that they were in the middle of nowhere. Something
was wrong. Matvey glanced quickly towards the odd couple but they
were no longer sitting in their seats.
All he could see was their thing. To Matvey’s 8…………… it was a trap
which was used by the Khanty a hundred years ago!
