Pavlovsk Palace

Pavlovsk Palace near St Petersburg has a remarkable story. In its over 200 years of existence, it has been ravaged by fire, ___ (A). But its survival of World War II is perhaps the most interesting period in its history.

The palace was built in the late 18th century on land that belonged to Catherine the Great. She had passed the land down to her son, Paul I, and his wife, Maria, upon the birth of their son, Alexander I of Russia. Scottish architect Charles Cameron, a lover of Greek and Roman architecture, was hired to design the palace. His relationship with Catherine the Great was quite close, ___ (B).

The three of them had competing interests for the interiors, each one disliking the others’ tastes. Eventually the palace was finished, and after Catherine the Greats passing, Paul I made it the official royal residence. His death in 1801 meant Alexander I would become emperor, ___ (C).

The palace stayed in royal hands up until the Russian Revolution, when the royal family fled the country. They left the palace to Alexander Polovotsoff, a prominent museum director, who fought to have it saved as a museum. His success meant that the palace survived, ___ (D).

Just before its seizure, the museum staff hurried to save the art contained in the museum. Furniture was dismantled and shipped off, ___ (E).

Несмотря на то что опыт итоговой аттестации в форме ЕГЭ насчитывает уже почти десятилетие, ежегодно вносятся определённые коррективы как в сами КИМы, так и процесс проведения экзамена. Мы решили узнать, какие новшества ждут участников ЕГЭ–2018.

Владимир ПУТИН, президент Российской Федерации:

– Экзамен, который старшеклассники сдают, освоив общеобразовательную программу в объёме 11 классов, имеет как плюсы, так и минусы. Одной из положительных сторон, бесспорно, является возможность поступления в вуз для ребят из регионов. Таким образом, ребёнок, вне зависимости от места рождения, может получить качественное образование, если он талантлив и умён.

Содержание КИМ

Все изменения в контрольно-измерительных материалах ЕГЭ 2018 года не носят принципиального характера. По большинству предметов проводится уточнение формулировок заданий и совершенствование системы оценивания заданий для повышения дифференцирующей способности экзаменационной работы.

Так, по информации Федерального института педагогических измерений (ФИПИ) в экзаменационную работу по русскому языку включено задание базового уровня (№ 20), проверяющее знание лексических норм современного русского литературного языка. Кроме того, максимальный первичный балл за выполнение всей работы увеличен с 57 до 58. В экзамен по физике в часть 1 добавлено одно задание базового уровня (№ 24), проверяющее элементы астрофизики. Максимальный первичный балл за выполнение всей работы увеличен с 50 до 52 баллов. Дополнительное задание высокого уровня с развёрнутым ответом (№ 30) добавлено в экзамен по химии, но максимальный первичный балл за выполнение всей работы остался без изменений (60).

Кто, когда и где сдаёт

Как мы уже сказали, в этом году в г.о. Павловский Посад ЕГЭ в основные сроки (с 28 мая по 20 июня) будут сдавать 345 выпускников школ, одновременно с ними и на тех же площадках (гимназия и школа № 18) итоговую аттестацию будут проходить студенты Павлово-Посадского техникума. А вот выпускники прошлых лет, пожелавшие сдавать ЕГЭ, будут экзаменоваться, во-первых, в резервные дни основного периода, а во-вторых, в межмуниципальных пунктах, которые определяет Министерство образования.

Есть и другие новшества в проведении экзаменов. Как рассказала нам начальник Управления образования администрации г.о. Павловский Посад Ольга Некрасова, в этом году экзаменационные бланки будут не цветными, а чёрно-белыми. Кроме того, они стали односторонними, то есть если выпускник пишет на обратной стороне бланка, то это не проверяется и апелляции по данной работе не принимаются.

Техническое оснащение

Ещё один новый и очень важный момент: весь комплект экзаменационных материалов будет распечатываться  непосредственно перед началом экзамена в присутствии  экзаменующихся. Для этого пункты проведения экзаменов (гимназия и школа № 18) оснащены специальной техникой.

«Губернатор Московской области Андрей Юрьевич Воробьёв выделил деньги, и Региональный центр обработки информации (РЦОИ) закупил оборудование для двух наших пунктов проведения экзамена. Гимназия получила16 принтеров, 18 ноутбуков и два быстрых сканера, в школе № 18 установили 15 принтеров, 17 ноутбуков и два сканера.

Своё первое испытание оборудование пройдёт 17 мая во время пробного ЕГЭ по обществознанию», – отметила О. Некрасова.

Итак, перед началом экзамена прямо в аудиториях распечатают и раздадут детям экзаменационный материал, по истечении отведённого времени бланки соберут, отсканируют и отправят на портал Федерального центра  тестирования (ФЦТ) для обработки. В таком режиме будут проходить все экзамены, в том числе и по английскому языку, где есть устная часть. Во время ответа будет вестись аудиозапись, которая также передаётся в ФЦТ. Кстати, среди экзаменов по выбору пальму первенства удерживает обществознание, многие выбирают математику (профиль) и историю. Примерно в равном количестве выпускники сдают биологию, химию, физику, литературу и иностранный язык.

Уже привычно для «чистоты экзамена» будут использоваться видеонаблюдение и система подавления сотовой связи. Что касается результатов, то их можно будет посмотреть на сайте http://check.ege.edu.ru

– Очень много споров было в своё время о нужности проведения итоговой аттестации в форме ЕГЭ, но время показало, что ЕГЭ – быть. Эта форма аттестации выпускников, несомненно, имеет очевидные преимущества, главное из которых состоит в том, что любой ребёнок вне зависимости от места проживания и школы, в которой он учится, по результатам ЕГЭ может поступать в любой вуз страны. Кроме того, сдача выпускных экзаменов в форме ЕГЭ – это точная и объективная оценка знаний учащихся. Безусловно, с учётом опыта прошлых лет в ЕГЭ вносятся определённые коррективы, но все они направлены на обеспечение комфортных условий для сдачи экзаменов. Так, в этом году экзаменационный материал будет распечатываться в наших школах, где будут проходить экзамены.

Хочу отметить, что весь процесс обучения в школе – это последовательная подготовка к итоговой аттестации в форме ЕГЭ, и наши выпускники достаточно хорошо владеют этой методикой, что подтверждают результаты ЕГЭ прошлых лет.

The Peter and Paul Fortress in St. Petersburg, located on small Hare Island, is the historic core of the city. The history of St. Petersburg begins with the history of the fortress.

Since 1700 Russia had been fighting the Northern War against Sweden. By 1703 the lands by the Neva River were conquered. To protect them from the attacks of the Swedes it was necessary to build a strong outpost here. The fortress was founded on Hare Island 16 (27) May, 1703 by joint plan of Peter I and French engineer Joseph-Gaspard Lambert de Guerin. This day is well known A_______________________.

‘Second Stonehenge’ discovered near original

 Archaeologists have discovered evidence of what they believe was a second Stonehenge located a little more than a mile away from the world-famous prehistoric monument.

The new find on the west bank of the river Avon has been called «Bluestonehenge», after the colour of the 25 Welsh stones of A______.

Excavations at the site have suggested there was once a stone circle 10 metres in diameter and surrounded by a henge — a ditch with an external bank, according to the project director, Professor Mike Parker Pearson, of the University of Sheffield.

The stones at the site were removed thousands of years ago but the sizes of the holes in B ______ indicate that this was a circle of bluestones, brought from the Preseli mountains of Wales, 150 miles away.

Davila Ross collected recordings of laughter from 21 chimps, gorillas, orangutans and bonobos and added recordings of three babies that were tickled to make them laugh.

But this remote region of north-west Siberia is now being affected by global warming. Traditionally the Nenets travel across the frozen River Ob in November A ___ around Nadym.  St Andrews University researchers discovered that elephants could recognise the degree of danger posed by various groups of individuals.  Wales is a small country of just over 3 million people, on the north west seaboard of Europe. The Scout Movement, which is also known as the Boy Scouts has changed massively in more than 100 years, though many people do not realise this.

For many people in Britain the word “scouting” evokes images of boys in short trousers A__________. The Bonfire Night

Letniy Sad

 Letniy Sad (The Summer Garden) is a park ensemble, a monument of landscape art of the 18th century. Letniy Sad is the oldest park in St. Petersburg. The park was founded by Peter I in 1704. The Tsar dreamed of his own Versailles and drew its original plan himself. He planned to create a regular, architectural park with accurate layout and straight paths.
