Задание № 37 на ЕГЭ по английскому языку – написание личного электронного письма.

Задание имеет базовый уровень сложности, поэтому при должной подготовке справиться с ним не очень сложно.

В демонстрационном варианте ФИПИ на 2023 год нам предлагается следующее письмо-стимул:

Итак, в задании требуется написать личное электронное письмо другу Ронни (имя указывается в задании), при этом необходимо ПОЛНО и ТОЧНО ответить на заданные три вопроса и задать три вопроса другу на КОНКРЕТНУЮ ТЕМУ (в данном случае – about his uncle).

Количество слов: 90 – 154 (так как допускается отклонение в 10% от указанных границ в 100-140 слов). Если Вы пишете меньше 90 слов, то письмо проверяться не будет. Если Вы пишете больше 154 слов, то эксперт будет проверять первые 140 слов, поэтому укладывайтесь в заданные рамки!

Как считать слова?

Считаем все слова, начиная с обращения, артикли, предлоги и другие служебные слова также считаются.

При этом за одно слово считаются:

Числительные, выраженные цифрами или словами: 210, ninety-one;
Сложные слова: pop-singer, English-speaking;
Краткие (стяженные) формы: I’ve, it’s, don’t, can’t, won’t, wasn’t;
Сокращения: TV, e-mail, UK.

Далее мы рассмотрим, что должно быть в содержании Вашего личного электронного письма. Обратите внимание, что адрес и дату указывать не нужно.

ПЛАН ПИСЬМА

обращение (слева, на отдельной строке), например, Dear Jim/Alice, Hello/ Hi Jim/Alice;
благодарность за полученное письмо, ссылка на предыдущие контакты не является обязательной (начало письма) например, «Thank you for your (recent) message. I was very glad to hear from you (again)», «Thanks for writing to me. I’m always glad to get emails./ I always like to read your emails. /I enjoy reading your messages and writing to you.» и т.д;
ответы на три вопроса друга по переписке (основная часть письма). Для того чтобы письмо было логичным, можно использовать фразы: «You asked me about … Well, I can say that …» или «As you are interested in … I’d like to tell you that …» и т. п.;
три вопроса другу по переписке на тему, указанную в задании, при этом не забываем про соединительную фразу/предложение, чтобы вопросы были логично связаны с предыдущим текстом;
упоминание о дальнейших контактах, например, «Write back soon»; «Hope to hear from you soon»; «Please, write to me soon» и т. д. (можно писать на отдельной строке или в конце текущего абзаца);
завершающая фраза, например, «Best wishes»; «All the best»; «With love»; «Yours» (на отдельной строке);
подпись автора (только Ваше имя, на отдельной строке).

КРИТЕРИИ ОЦЕНИВАНИЯ ПИСЬМА

Решение коммуникативной задачи (2 балла);
Организация текста (2 балла);
Языковое оформление текста (2 балла).

Максимальное количество баллов за задание – 6.

Давайте рассмотрим такой образец личного письма:

Hi Ronny, 
Thank you for the e-mail! I am glad to hear from you. I'm sorry I couldn't answer earlier because I was busy with my exams.
In your message you asked me about summer. You know, the weather here is varied in this season. It can be rather hot in the south of the country and cool in the north. As for me, I prefer summer, this is the season when we have vacations. This summer I am planning to go the summer camp, then my parents are going to take me to the country.
By the way, I'd like to know more about your uncle. Where does your uncle live? Has he got a family? How long is he going to stay with you? I've got to go now, as I've got lots of homework to do.

В данном письме 145 слов (в рамки уложились).

В обращении должно быть имя, после имени не забываем ставить запятую!

В начале электронного письма должна быть выражена благодарность за полученное письмо, ссылка на предыдущие контакты не является обязательной:

Thank you for your e-mail! I am glad to hear from you!

В следующем предложении желательно написать о том, почему мы не могли ответить ранее и извиниться за задержку:

I’m sorry I couldn’t answer earlier because I was busy with my exams.

Переходим к ответам на вопросы при помощи такого соединительного предложения:

In your message you asked me about summer.

Отвечаем на каждый вопрос одним сложным или двумя простыми предложениями. Одно простое предложение в качестве ответа на вопрос считается как неполный ответ.

You know, the weather here is varied in this season. It can be rather hot in the south of the country and cool in the north. As for me, I prefer summer, this is the season when we have vacations. This summer I am planning to go the summer camp, then my parents are going to take me to the country.

Далее мы задаем три вопроса другу по конкретной теме. В данном случае, например, необходимо задать вопросы про дядю:

By the way, I’d like to know more about your uncle. Where does your uncle live? Has he got a family? How long is he going to stay with you?

Завершаем письмо, указывая причину:

I’ve got to go now, as I’ve got lots of homework to do.

Указываем ссылку на будущие контакты:

Keep in touch!

Пишем завершающую фразу и Ваше имя на отдельной строке, точки в конце не ставим:

Yours,

Alice

Для осуществления логической связи между предложениями Вам необходимо использовать в тексте письма вводные слова и выражения, а также личные местоимения.

В данном примере были использованы:

By the way, – кстати

В письме достаточно 3-4 таких выражений, не перегружайте ими письмо, а также помните о стиле, такие выражения, как “moreover”, “nevertheless” и прочие, характерные для публицистического/официального стиля, нам не подойдут.

Не пугаемся и никуда не бежим: изменения в проектной демоверсии ЕГЭ по английскому языку этого года НЕ такие существенные, как были в прошлом. Хотя сначала кажется иначе.

Перед описанием изменений уточню, что все, что мы видим ниже – проект, а не 100%-ный формат ЕГЭ, который увидим в июне 2023 года. Утвержденную демоверсию ждем в конце осени, а сейчас смотрим на предлагаемые изменения. Но по опыту мы с вами знаем, что скорее всего они все и останутся, внесут пару корректировок в текст заданий и до свидания, идите на экзамен.

Кстати, план подготовки к ЕГЭ 2023 учитывает все изменения последней демоверсии! Если вы собрались готовить к экзамену, эта книга точно облегчит ваше знакомство с форматом, потому что в нем собраны все необходимые ссылки на материалы и стратегии выполнения разделов.

Первичный и вторичный балл

Это – самое значительное изменение 2023 года. Вот как было раньше:

Максимально понятно. Сколько правильных ответов написал – столько баллов получил.

А вот что придумали сейчас:

Теперь за весь экзамен можно получить максимум 86 баллов, а не 100, как было раньше. То есть, 86 баллов = 100%. Если ученик получил 56 баллов, то при переводе в процент (где 86 баллов=100) это составит 65%. Высчитать можно по математической формуле или на калькуляторе:

Как еще усложнили подсчет баллов

Те, кто готовят к ЕГЭ давно, знают, что в экзамене есть задания базового (А2), среднего (B1) и повышенного (B2) уровня сложности. До этого года за правильные ответы в заданиях любой сложности давали баллы. Но теперь ситуация поменялась.

Количество заданий и в разделе “Аудирование”, и в разделе “Чтение” осталось одинаковым. А подсчет баллов изменился.

Цитирую ФИПИ: “за каждое неверное указание элемента балл снижается на один“. Расшифровываю: 6 ответов правильно = 3 балла. 5 ответов правильно = 2 балла. 4 ответа правильно = 1 балл. 1-3 ответа правильно = 0 баллов, гуляй Вася.

Такая же история и со 2ым заданием аудированием, и с заданиями 10 и 11 (это два первых чтения).

Раздел 3 (Грамматика и лексика)

Раньше здесь было 20 заданий, теперь их 18.

1 задание убрали из грамматики, 1 задание убрали из словообразования. Наглядно:

Изменений в формате тут нет, просто убрали 2 задания.

Письменная часть

Электронное письмо

Теперь это задание под №37, сдвинулась нумерация из-за удаления двух заданий в 3-м разделе.

И уточнили формулировку в критериях оценивания:

Графики

Здесь произошли изменения, которые всех больше всего пугают, потому что вместо bar chart появился pie chart. Но суть осталась та же самая, потому что пирожочек описывает те же тенденции, просто нарисовано по-другому:

Вот на что здесь нужно обратить внимание, так это на изменение формулировки в задании. Теперь мы не просто сравниваем, но и комментируем, и в конце не просто выражаем мнение, а его и объясняем. Но в прошлом году все так и делали, и так же советовала в своей статье и книге по графикам. И еще переписали 4-ый пункт с “arise with” на “one can face”, последнее и правда звучит лучше.

Устная часть

И последние изменения в экзамене.

Задание 3

Уточнили критерии оценивания:

Теперь нас просят не рассусоливать в интервью, а говорить 2-3 фразы, и уточняют, что ошибки уровня elementary балл не принесут.

Задание 4

Здесь изменения коснулись формулировки задания:

из демоверсий-2022 и 2023

Первые два пункта сжали в один и advantages/disadvantages выделили в два разных параграфа. По сути, все тоже самое – просто формулировку поменяли.

Итого

Все изменения – на мой взгляд, косметика, а не правка самого формата. Самое сложное из всего этого – расчет первичного и вторичного балла за весь экзамен.

Обращение к другу по нормам неформального стиля
Благодарность за полученное письмо ИЛИ выражение радости по поводу получения письма (однако придется давать оба эти элемента, чтобы в абзаце было хотя бы два предложения).
Предложение-переход к ответам на вопросы.
Предложение-переход к вопросам другу.
Надежда на будущие контакты.
Завершающая фраза на отдельной строке.
Подпись по нормам неформального стиля.

Минимальный шаблон письма (53 слова, ученику остается написать 47-87 слов)

Основные принципы

В основных 3 абзацах должно быть не менее 2 предложений.

Надежду на будущие контакты можно писать единственным предложением на отдельной строке (“Желательно, чтобы фраза была написана на отдельной строке, но не считается ошибкой, если она примыкает к фразе, объясняющей, почему автор заканчивает письмо”).

Рамку с темой, адресатом и отправителем перерисовывать не нужно.

Дату и адрес писать нельзя (это считается нарушением по критерию «Организация текста»; указание даты и/или адреса отправителя в электронном письме считается за 1 логическую ошибку)

Абзацы должны визуально четко прослеживаться.

Допустимое отклонение по количеству слов по-прежнему 10%, то есть допустимые границы слов — 90-154 включительно. Работа в 89 слов и меньше автоматически получает 0 баллов. Если в работе 155 слов и больше, оцениваются только первые 140 слов.

Если из трёх необходимых вопросов другу принят только один, то в дополнительной схеме эксперт проставляет минус; если приняты два вопроса – плюс-минус; приняты все три вопроса – плюс.

Использование разговорных грамматических форм и традиционных и общепринятых для электронной среды акронимов, аббревиатур, сокращений в электронном письме не считается ошибкой (gonna – going to; wanna – want to; ASAP — as soon as possible), однако специально обучать им школьников не стоит. Более того, выпускников следует предостеречь от использования сниженно-разговорного стиля (highly colloquial) или сленга (slang).

в развёрнутых ответах на задание 39 и 40 раздела «Письменная речь» от участника экзамена ожидается последовательное использование того или иного национального варианта английского языка, и если в тексте, написанном в основном на британском варианте, появляется слово в американском написании, это считается орфографической ошибкой.

Экспертам следует принимать все возможные именования электронного письма: email, e-mail, email message, email letter, letter.

Отвечать на вопросы друга, копируя структуры, времена.

Стараться не опускать важные детали из вопросов:

Вопрос: How do teenagers spend their free time?

Ответ: The most popular activities are football, tennis and basketball.

Хотя ответ выше будет засчитан, вариант “The most popular activities AMONG TEENAGERS are football, tennis and basketball” — безопаснее.

При составлении вопросов другу отвечать в том же времени, в котором вопросы были заданы:

Задание в письме-стимуле: …Today I’m going to visit a new shopping centre in my district…

Задание после письма-стимула: ask 3 questions about the visit to the shopping centre. Was your visit to the shopping centre long? / How long were you at the shopping centre? — вопрос не будет принят, так как поход в торговый центр ещё не состоялся.

Правильные варианты вопросов (относятся к будущему):

Is your visit to the shopping centre going to be long? How long are you going to be at the shopping centre?

How much time are you going to spend at the shopping centre?

При составлении вопросов другу не задавать вопросов, ответы на которые уже были даны в письме-стимуле:

Задание в письме-стимуле: …I won the city contest in Geography last week.

Задание после письма-стимула: ask 3 questions about the city contest in Geography. Did you fail the contest? – вопрос не будет принят, так как в письме-стимуле сказано, что друг выиграл конкурс.

When was the contest held? – вопрос не будет принят, так как в письме-стимуле сказано, что конкурс был на прошлой неделе.

Писать письмо по самому полному шаблону и, если слов окажется слишком много, вычеркивать лишние предложения. Зачеркнуть технически проще, чем потом вписывать недостающие по объему слов части.

Изменения ЕГЭ 2023 уже показали в демоверсии. Изменения коснулись многих разделов экзамена. Сегодня поговорим об электронном письме, которое пришло на смену обычному письму. Но не нужно паниковать, особо много не изменилось.

Итак, что видим в демоверсии. Вот такой пример.

Несколько слов по пунктам, которые хотелось бы отметить

Само задание не изменилось
Было обычное письмо, стало электронное. В начале я поменяла letter на email message. Просто взяла как в задании.
Объем тот же самый — 100-140 слов
Отвечаем на вопросы в письме. Примеры писем можно взять на сайте ФИПИ. Думаю, они остануться прежними.
Нет ссылки на предыдущие контакты. В дополнительной схеме оценивания оценивается только: благодарность за полученное письмо, надежда на последующие контакты
Считаем слова также.
Не забываем задавать вопросы
Обратите внимание на переходы от одного абзаца к другому. Например, от первого абзаца переходим ко второму с помощью In your letter you asked me about……
