Doing household chores is a necessary part of our life. My brothe and I have a lot of duties. My parents are often tired and we must take care of them. Everybody is happy when their home is bright and clean.
I think that doing my household chores is fun. I sweep the floor, tidy my room, clean the shoes, dust the furniture, make food myself and do every kind of work. It’s not easy to do every kind of work at home, but I try to learn doing everything myself. Very often I go to the market with my mother. We buy some vegetables and fruit. Then I help my Mum to carry them. We also have got a country house. There is a big garden with many trees, bushes and flowers in it. There is a lot of work in our garden as well and I help my parents to do it. We sweep the yard, cut away dry and useless branches of the trees, weed the flowerbeds and walk the dog. I usually clean the flat on Friday. I believe that doing some chores makes a man feel fine and satisfied with his own life.

Должны ли подростки помогать ухаживать за своими младшими сестрами и братьями. Я считаю, что каждый, не важно подросток или взрослый, должен заботиться о своих младших. Это отличная идея, помогать родителям, когда они слишком загружены работой, домашними делами, и чтобы облегчить им задания, нужно приглядывать за младшими, это обязанность каждого старшего брата или сестры.
Для начала, забота о младших сестрах/братьях это огромная ответственность, которую старшие берут на себя. Это учит их отвечать за свои действия, а значит и обдуманно их совершать.
В дополнении к этому, забота о близких это хороший урок, не только для подростков, но и для их младших братьев/сестер. Одни извлекают что то новое для себя, а другие запоминают важные вещи, которые помогут им в жизни.
С другой стороны, некоторые люди утверждают, что дети не могут ухаживать за детьми. Одно плохое слово или совершенный поступок подростка, может отложиться на памяти у маленьких детей. А в свою очередь старшие братья/сестра являются примером для их подражания, что может плохо отразиться на детках.
Как мне кажется, забота о ближних это ценный жизненный урок для каждого подростка. Так они смогут показать свою готовность заботиться о семье и других людях, которые встретятся им на пути.

In addition to this, teenagers who can and do housework by themselves are independent individuals and it has several advantages. Firstly, teen’s parents will appreciate the orderliness, which came in their apartment. This skill will definitely need in life, as when a teenager becomes an adult, he will keep house by own. Secondly, during the summer holiday he or she can earn some pocket money, by working in a cleaning company. In summer some people prefer to relax and this makes them to call experts, who will tidy their home.

On the other hand, some people consider, that teenagers who usually have to do household chores, cannot go out to play with friends, because they will come home and bring dirt into the house.

To conclude, the way I see it, teenagers should help with household chores. He or she learns independent housekeeping, when they help their parents. Why not to learn some important life lessons at the early age?

Teenagers lead busy lives. They have school, homework, night classes and sports to fill their days. Is it really necessary for teens to help with the household chores as well? In my opinion, no.

To begin with, it’s not fair to make teenagers help out at home because they are usually under a lot of pressure at school. If they have cleaning to do when they get home, when will they find the time or energy to do their homework?

In addition, some parents can rely too much on their children to do all the jobs they hate, like weeding the garden. Quite often, children are turned into slaves that work for the benefit of the parents and for little financial reward.

On the other hand, it makes sense to share the household chores. Many parents also lead busy lives and don’t have enough time to do all the jobs that keep a home neat and tidy.

Childhood is a time of learning and every day has something new. If children were forced to work all hours of the day, they would have no time for personal development. After all, as the saying goes, ‘All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.’

Many people think that teenagers have little free time. First, in their opinion, many teenagers spend the whole time on homework and preparation for school, most often it is not. To a certain extent, it is right, but we shouldn’t forget that parents also need help. we should consider the fact that parents work and are very tired and earned money to a greater extent to provide us.

But to all who thinks that teenagers should never to help parents I have only one response: we cannot afford to disregard the requests of the parents though because they gave us life, and try to provide it.(216)

Many people do not like working. Sometimes it is connected with their profession which they do not like. Sometimes people have problems with the administration or colleagues. Some people choose the work they like and do not have such problems. The reasons why people work vary. Some people just want to earn money for a living. Other people just like working.

Многие люди не любят работать. Иногда это связано с их профессией, которая им не нравится. Иногда у людей возникают проблемы с начальством или коллегами. Not only adults want or have to work. Nowadays many teenagers work. The reasons why teenagers work can be similar: some of them just earn money and other teenagers just want to work. Modern teenagers, unlike our ancestors, seldom have to work to support the family. As a rule, they work to have more pocket money. However there are also those who have to pay for the study or support their families.

There are plenty of choices to earn money, for example, car washing, leafleting, working at office and so on. Car washing is one of the most popular ways to earn money among teenagers. Many classmates of mine wash cars in summer. It is hard to explain why they choose it.

Whether children should help around the house or not is one of the most hotly debated issues nowadays. Opinions on the subject are equallu divided. However, I firmly believe that children should be asked to do household chores as soon as they are able to do so.

The first important reason as far as I’m concerned is that getting children involved in doing domestic duties can teach them a massive set of life skills that will benefit their independent life in the future forever. The one thing that we all need to learn is how to run a home. After all, we all have to live somewhere. We, therefore, need to understand how to clean, how to cook, how to shop, how to budget,… For this reason, in our future, things will be much easier. We can prepare for the later life only by doing suitable household chores.

The second reason is that asking children to help with housework can teach them a sense of responsibility. In a family, every member has to do their own job. For example, father and brother are in charge of fixing things while mother usually does the shopping and cooks. Therefore, children should give a hand to express that they are responsible and independent of parents. Children can divide free time into two parts. They should spend only 30% of the free time on entertainment and the rest is for doing domestic duties. They can manage both studies and household chores easily. This teaches them how to become a qualified people and know their responsibilities in family and society.

Others who do not agree point out the potential danger involved in some household tasks. This cannot be denied but we have to remember that most task assignment is appropriate with parents taking into considerations children’s age, experience and current skill level. Also, parential guidance is available if children need help. Some others do not approve of this arrangement say doing housework takes up a lot of time of children. However, children can control their spare time reasonably. They know how to make a distribution of time spent on their homework, entertainment and domestic duties. Therefore, time doesn’t have an effect on children’s responsibilities for doing housework.

In conclusion, it is really very essential for children to do household chores. This will certainly bring many benefits to them in many ways. Parents should also consider clearly ability and age of their children to make an appropriate task assignment.

In most families parents usually used to do the majority of housework. Nowadays, modern parents prefer to share laundry, washing the dishes ans so on equally. among them and their children rather than do everything themselves. I completely agree that everyone should so their fair share for a number of reasons.

Firstly, it is believed that teenagers have more free time than adults do, therefore, young people should be given a bigger part of housework. However, most teenagers plan their spare time for homework or courses, thus deviding household chores can give them more freedom to advance their skills in spheres they enjoy.

Secondly, adults have more experience in managing housework. As a result, they usually do it in a more excellent way. Following their example is the best way for teenagers to learn how to deal with their chores, for the reason that it can economise the time of both, teenagers and their nearest and dearest.

Finally, doing a fair share of work can give a family an opportunity to devote time to each other, discuss urgent problems and tell interesting news.

For all those reasons, I believe that sharing responsibility between family members can make life convenient and enjoyable for both adults and their children.

Model Answer 1:
The issue about whether children should help with household tasks as soon as they are able to do so is open for debate. Some people say that children should devote more time for playing with their friends, watching TV and studying. However, other people believe that children should help their parents with household tasks. Personally, for several reasons, which I will explain bellow, I adhere to the latter point of view.

First of all, I think that every child should have his or her own responsibilities. When I was a child my parents taught me how to make breakfast in the morning. So, I woke up, went to the kitchen and prepared a couple of toasts for breakfast. It was easy and I enjoyed doing it because I liked the way my parents thanked me and I felt that they were proud of me. Also, my mom always wanted me to know how to cook, clean and iron my cloth. Thanks to the learning, nowadays, when my maid can not come to my house I handle all household tasks myself.

Second of all, performing household tasks teaches children to value the job of people who did it. When I was a child I did not imagine that cleaning house could be so time and energy consuming. So, when I began to do some of the household tasks by myself I began to respect the job of others and tried to collect all my toys after my playing with them.

Finally, doing household tasks teaches children to arrange their time. In addition to those practical benefits, help from children allows parents to have more spare time for their personal lives and for the children. A family can have more time to spend with each other talking, watching movies or just enjoying the beautiful moments.

To sum up, I think that children should help their parents with household tasks. Doing household tasks helps them to grow into independent, self-confident, and attentive persons who respect their parents.

As time goes by, parents have less and less time to spend at home with their children because of their working pressure & schedules. Lots of people think that it should be better to teach their children to do house works, so they could do household tasks more rapidly and especially together and can prepare for the upcoming days. I think that is right to teach children to do house works and I will discuss this topic in the next paragraphs.

The reason why children should learn how to do household tasks is that it will become extremely useful to them in the future. In fact, learning to do the house works will prepare children to adult life. Furthermore, the fact that children can contribute to household tasks is a concrete help for their parents and a reason of pride.

Parents should firstly teach to their children to complete easy tasks such as removing dust or washing their toys. Secondly, children could give some help with gardening or take care of pets, which are tasks that require interest and more attention. Finally, young boys and girls could use the hoover or the dishwasher. The most important aspect of teaching how to do house works is to make them easy-to-do and even amusing if possible.

To conclude, people who don’t believe that their children are able to do household tasks are completely wrong and have to change their mind even if they hadn’t been required to do house works when they were children too.

Learning and education is an important part of a child’s life. Children learn a lot from their surroundings. The parents are the first guides and mentors of their children.

Involving the children in household tasks is a vital part of their learning. When the kids are old enough to be able to help in such tasks, they should be made to do so. Children can be asked to help their mother in cooking, cleaning the house, organising their wardrobes, setting the dining table for lunch and dinner, putting the things in order at home. These are small tasks, but in doing so, the children learn a lot.

These small chores inculcate a feeling of responsibility in children. For example, my two-year-old is always instructed to put her toys back in the bucket whenever she is done playing. Now, she does not need to be told that either, because she knows that it’s her responsibility to put her things back in order when she is done with them. This sense of responsibility also makes a child more confident. The child also learns to help people around. It develops a caring attitude towards other people. It also helps children to develop a habit of doing things together with their peers. The child gets disciplined when he is used to organising his room and wardrobe.

In short, in order to make the children a useful part of a community, we should involve them in such activities. This will not only groom their personalities but also set an example for others to follow.

Since the dawn of time children helped to do home tasks, but nowadays this situation has been changed and all housework are done by elders. People believe that children must help to do housework, due to the responsibility that they might earn and school themselves to work in a group. I totally agree with the rubric above and it will be proven in the following essay.

Firstly, house works aren’t purposed only for one person, it should be divided. For instance, if a mom would wash clothes, a daughter should run the vacuum cleaner, while the son throws away garbage. In this case, people in a family will learn how to work in a group and realise if they will do housework together it would be much easier than doing it alone. It’s obvious from my example that as more people involve in cleaning of the house as faster it would be done.

Another advantage of «little helpers» is that, by giving them tasks you accidentally teaching them to responsibility. For example, if children help in household works, they will use to do tasks in time and in the near future it’ll be a huge advantage for them. Because, in today’s life punctual people are more reliable and accepted in high positions, it is always a good idea to grow up children in this fashion.

In conclusion, in my view, even if our society is changing the behaviour of the young generation, we have to teach them to help us in household works and by doing those, they actually will learn what is the responsibility and how difficult to be in charge of something.
