The annoying orange егэ

This article is about the online series. For other uses associated with the title «Annoying Orange», see Annoying Orange (disambiguation).

Annoying Orange is an American live-action/animated comedy web series created by Dane Boedigheimer (known online as DaneBoe). The series follows an anthropomorphic orange who annoys fruits, vegetables, and various other objects by telling crude jokes and puns until their demise. In addition, the show satirizes and parodies pop culture, including television programs and commercials, anime series, films, music, celebrities, politicians, fairy tales, video games; and internet culture, with a touch of off-color humor, surreal humor and gross-out humor.

The show became popular, leading to three video games, a range of toys, backpacks, couches, pillows, blankets, lunch boxes, drink bottles, mattresses, towels, plushies and a T-shirt line. Other accessories, such as costumes of the series characters, have also appeared on the market.

The original web series has also expanded to multiple separate series, such as The Adventures of Liam The Leprechaun, The Misfortune of Being Ned, The Marshmallow Show, the television series The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange and many YouTube secondary channels featuring the rest of the main characters as well as a gaming channel. It also has released episodes such as Ask Orange, The Juice, Emoji Raps, Foodsplosion, How2, Adventures of Buttman, Storytime, Let’s Play, Annoying Orange vs, Annoying Orange — (insert random thing here) Challenges and Trailer Trashed. A Halloween-themed event called Shocktober has been releasing on every month of October since 2013, meanwhile, a Christmas-themed event called X-Massacre has only aired in December 2017. A compilation of episodes with a particular theme called Saturday Supercut has also been released on Saturdays since 2017 and the Spin-off The Juice.

The Annoying Orange YouTube channel had around 11.5 million subscribers in December 2022.[1][better source needed]

Plot

An example of an Annoying Orange episode.

The show is centered on Orange (voiced by Dane Boedigheimer), who lives in a kitchen with other foods and objects like his best friend, Pear, an irritable, geeky Bartlett pear (also voiced by Boedigheimer). Other fruits include Passion, a sensible passion fruit and Orange’s love interest (voiced by Justine Ezarik), an arrogant Grapefruit (voiced by Bob Jennings; later Jon Bailey), a tiny but hot-blooded Red Delicious apple known as Midget Apple (though he prefers the name Little Apple), a happy-go-lucky and slightly eccentric Marshmallow who always sees everything filled with enthusiasm, and an elderly lemon named Grandpa Lemon, all joining the show over the years. Other characters include Dr Bananas (a banana who is a mad scientist), Squash (a large squash that has the habit of landing on objects and squashing them), Corey (a Golden Delicious apple that is cut in half. There is a running joke at Corey tries to find another butt to replace his old one. But with no success), Sis (Orange’s sister), and Baby Orange (an infant orange. Though whether he is a related to Orange is not explained).

The formula for most episodes consists of Orange heckling other characters until they meet a sudden, gruesome end, usually being killed or mutilated by a chef’s knife (although implements used to maim them range from a blender to a toy pinwheel). Orange usually tries to warn them by crying out the weapon-in-use, such as «Knife!».[2]

Orange has recurring mannerisms. He often begins an episode by repeatedly calling for a character’s attention until the character responds. Orange also often refers to the character as something playing on the object’s name or appearance (such as calling Grapefruit «Apefruit»). If an object behaves in a way that Orange dislikes, he will often call that object an «apple» (the food equivalent to «asshole»), even if the object is not an apple. Otherwise, Orange tells jokes, burps, breaks wind or makes noises with his tongue to get attention.

Despite the contentions of other fruits and objects, Orange generally cannot control his quirks and rarely tries to annoy others on purpose; he usually means well for most fruits and objects. In one web episode Mango, a life coach, suggests that Orange is using his annoying nature to cope with the demise of the fruits he tries to befriend. Regardless of his outward anti-social behaviour, Orange almost always finds comfort in the company of his friends and sometimes makes new ones.

Main

  • Orange (voiced by Dane Boedigheimer) – The main protagonist in the series. He can spit seeds from his mouth and has a passion for breaking wind, TNT, kazoos, making noises (such as «nya, nya» and the roar of a motorboat engine) and touching his tongue to his eyeball. Yet he appears to be good-hearted, to the point of warning his guests about their imminent deaths. Orange enjoys making puns and jokes, usually punctuated with his signature laugh. Orange also has a fear of dancing hippos.
  • Pear (voiced by Dane Boedigheimer) – a D’Anjou pear. The only fruit who puts up with Orange (at least most of the time), and is arguably his best friend, although Pear would refuse to admit it. Other foods regard Pear as a bore, owing to his passion for reading; he is often the butt of jokes throughout the series. As such, Pear occasionally resorts to extreme behaviours to defy the idea that he is boring.
  • Midget Apple / Little Apple (voiced by Dane Boedigheimer) – A diminutive Red Delicious apple who prefers to be called «Little Apple» – as he hates the appellation «Midget Apple» for being insensitive to fruits his size. He owns a monster truck and is often ridiculed for his height, mostly by Orange. He’s also ridiculed for being illiterate, which he constantly denies. He’s an expert at horror video games, according to the Gaming Channel. His catchphrase is «Neato burrito!»
  • Marshmallow (voiced by Dane Boedigheimer) – A cute, happy go lucky, squeaky-voiced marshmallow who is almost always happy. Marshmallow is regarded to be Midget Apple’s best friend. They love unicorns (their mother herself is a unicorn), rainbows, cuddly animals, and all things cute. A running source of humour involves questioning Marshmallow’s gender – although Marshmallow has self-referred to be male even in their early appearances but was later said to be non-binary since the episode «PRIDE». Marshmallow is given to say «Yay!» a lot and has an audacious giggle.
  • Passion Fruit (voiced by Justine Ezarik) – A sweet, sassy passion fruit who is Orange’s love interest — although Orange is embarrassed to admit he loves her. Grapefruit is also in love with Passion, although she hates him. At one point, she dated a giant granadilla named GG, whom she later found out was her cousin. Their relationship did not last long.
  • Grandpa Lemon (voiced by Kevin Brueck) – An elderly lemon who constantly falls asleep and often mishears words. In his first appearance, Grandpa Lemon died, being sliced and juiced into a glass of lemonade. He was resurrected in «Frankenfruit» and has appeared subsequently since then. Despite his old age, he drives a stunt-optimized motorcycle. In the High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange episode «Veggie Zombies», Grandpa Lemon mentions a character called Grandma Lime, presumed to be his wife, although it is unconfirmed if she is alive or dead, as she has not been mentioned since then in the series.
  • Grapefruit (voiced by Bob Jennings from 2010 to 2021; Jon Bailey 2021-present) – A brawny grapefruit who has a bit of a temper — and who others (often Orange) often call fat, much to his displeasure. Like Grandpa Lemon, he was killed by Knife in his first appearance and was resurrected in «Frankenfruit» as the head of the titular amalgamated monster, and subsequently has appeared since then. In earlier seasons, he was antagonistic, but in later seasons has become part of the main cast. He has a bodybuilder’s personality, enjoys flexing and using bodybuilding terms a lot. He also likes to impress others, particularly female foods, although he usually fails at this due to his foul luck. Following Bob Jennings’ departure from the role in 2021, the episode «Grapefruit’s New Voice!» introduced Jon Bailey as his new voice actor.
  • Orange’s sister (voiced by Jess Lizama) – Also referred to as Sis, she is just as annoying as her brother Orange. Originally a one-time character, over time, her prominence has grown to that of a recurring character, and then a major character (even appearing in episodes of The Juice and Storytime), likely due to the noticeable lack of female main characters, due to Passion’s less frequent appearances in later episodes.

Recurring/Minor

  • Knife (voiced by Kevin Nalty, later by Dane Boedigheimer, singing voice by Peter Coffin) – A chef’s knife who often kills various foods against his will. He is terrified both by the fact that he is used to mutilating food and by a cruel knife sharpener who seems to enjoy Knife’s suffering.
  • Liam the Leprechaun (portrayed by Bob Jennings) – A short-tempered leprechaun who is always losing his pot of gold, and ever since first encountering Orange, has become among his most bitter enemies. He has his own YouTube channel. In early episodes, Orange refers to him as the «Jolly Green Giant». With Bob Jennings’ departure from the series in 2021, Liam has been retired as a character.
  • Zoom, Zip & Zoop (voiced by Bob Jennings) – Energy drinks —
  • Squash (voiced by Dane Boedigheimer) – A nervous butternut squash who invariably falls onto various foods by mistake and, to his horror and disgust, crushes them to death. Squash does not intend to hurt anyone.
  • Copper Lincoln (voiced by Bob Jennings) – A miniature copper Abraham Lincoln statue who enjoys break dancing and was birthed by an ordinary penny after being swallowed and coughed up by a magic oyster.
  • Dr. Bananas (voiced by Aaron Massey) – A brilliant, rather insane banana scientist whose inventions have been known to be incredible achievements or to have caused certain death. Although sliced in two by Knife in his debut, he managed to reconnect his two halves with an invention known as the Slice-Twice-Splice Machine – with the side effect that electricity surges through his stitching, although this side effect appears to have gone away in later appearances.
  • Nude Dude (voiced by Jack Douglass, later Kevin Brueck) – An apple who became permanently naked after being put into an electric peeler. It is revealed in «Barewolf» that he is a werewolf. Episodes after his debut usually depict him with a censor bar over his groin area, despite him (and all other foods) having no visible genitalia.
  • Captain Obvious (voiced by Steve Zaragoza, later Shannon Jones) – A sea captain onion who always points out the obvious, much to the annoyance of others.
  • Lou the Tick (voiced by Michael «Mike 3D» Wingate) – A conspiracy theorist tick who lives in a tinfoil tent, always worrying about aliens possibly taking over the Earth. His name and species are a play on the word «lunatic».
  • Corey Apple (voiced by Kevin Brueck) – Midget Apple’s literal «half-brother», Corey is a golden delicious apple who managed to survive a knife attack, although losing his backside in the process, which he constantly talks about or tries to replace in his very frequent appearances. He tends to be over-the-top and appears rather oblivious or dopey at times since the knife injury also appears to have damaged his brain.
  • Baby Orange (voiced by Dane Boedigheimer) – Baby Orange is, as his name implies, an infant orange whom is looked after by the main cast. Baby Orange is quite a handful, as he is nosy, disobedient, and of course, just as annoying as almost all other oranges on the series.
  • Limburger (voiced by Rebecca Parham) –
  • Gaming Grape (voiced by Shannon Jones) – A grape who likes to play video games on his PlayStation 4 and other game consoles, much to the chagrin of his mother and Game Ball, his sports-fanatic older brother. He mostly appears on the Annoying Orange Gaming channel.
  • Sour Rangers – These four sour candies who resemble Sour Patch Kids are parodies of the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers, and have saved the kitchen from the threat of domination or destruction by various villains, including Marshageddon, Lord Bread, and Chivan Stews, by using their powers as well as their Gourds (which are parodies of Zords), which can be used to form Megagourds (parody of the Megazord). So far, they have starred in four episodes that chronicle their adventures.
    • Red (voiced by Steven Zurita) – The team leader, Red seems to be rather a braggart as well as the strongest of the four. His Gourd is a zucchini which was gifted the power of the Mussel Chowdergourd in the fourth episode.
    • Pink (voiced by Shira Lazar) – Pink is a gymnast and the sole female member of the team. Her Gourd is a pumpkin and was gifted the power of the Oyster Chowdergourd in the fourth episode.
    • Yellow (voiced by Kevin Brueck) – Yellow serves as the brains of the team. His Gourd is a squash and was gifted the power of the Clam Chowdergourd in the fourth episode.
    • Green (voiced by Bob Jennings) – Green is the always-ignored voice of reason; his teammates — much to his chagrin — always dismiss his strategies about confronting villains, even though his plans would be very effective. His Gourd is a courgette which was gifted the power of an unknown Chowdergourd in the fourth episode (presumed to be a scallop).

Episodes

The first Annoying Orange episode was released on October 9, 2009. Since then, the Annoying Orange YouTube channel has uploaded two or three videos a week.

Background

Dane Boedigheimer, creator of The Annoying Orange

Dane Boedigheimer, creator of The Annoying Orange

Before The Annoying Orange, Boedigheimer had done many talking food videos for his channel and other sites including JibJab. He said in an interview that the idea for The Annoying Orange was a combination of the talking food videos, puns and special effects he came up with and did before.[3] The original video was planned to be titled The Annoying Apple, but when he started animating the video he found it easier to put features on orange than an apple and make it clearer.[4]

The first Annoying Orange video initially was meant to be the only one on YouTube. However, viewers requested more videos,[5][6] and after the 4th one, Boedigheimer decided to make a full-time series. Following the success of the series, he created a channel dedicated to The Annoying Orange under the name «Annoying Orange» on January 11, 2010.

Reception

The series was rated as the most viewed web series of February and March 2010 by Mashable, with over 52 million views.[7][8] On April 26, 2010, the series had over 108 million views on YouTube.[2][9][10] In June 2010, the channel had received 137 million views.[6] By August 13, 2010, it had received 1 million subscribers. In June 2011, the channel was ranked as the eighth most subscribed and 30th most viewed, with more than 2,000,000 subscribers.[11][12] On January 13, 2012, the series hit 1 billion channel views and 2.3 million subscribers.[13][14] The Annoying Orange YouTube channel currently has over 11 million subscribers.

Despite the popularity of the web series with sections of the public, it has received generally unfavourable critical reviews, many citing its rude humor. Liz Shannon Miller considered the show to be «annoying for many reasons.»[15] In the web series column Pass the Mustard, Ned Hepburn called the show «pure, pure unfunny, highly concentrated, in droplet form, just purely nonsensical riffing from an Annoying Orange.» Hepburn concluded, «the Annoying Orange series is one of the few that I had a physically bad reaction to. It was horrible.»[16] 411mania.com called the show «idiotic» and «creepy as hell»,[17] while other publications have referred to it as «third grade humor.»[2]

In 2014 The Annoying Orange YouTube Channel was listed on New Media Rockstars Top 100 Channels, ranked at #32.[18]

Lawsuit

The success of the series had received attention from H2M, a Fargo, North Dakota advertising agency, which in 2006 created its own «talking orange» character to be the spokesman for a North Dakota Department of Transportation ad campaign. Both characters were anthropomorphic oranges with ties to the Fargo-Moorhead area. Despite only slightly resembling H2M’s talking orange, the Annoying Orange was looked into by H2M’s attorneys as an intellectual property matter. Boedigheimer stated he had not watched H2M’s talking orange videos before being informed about the disagreement, and also believed that the characters were not very similar.[19] Boedigheimer and Grove was later sued by H2M in May 2013 for allegedly copying the character.[20] No information has been made public about the status of the dispute.

Pay withdrawal lawsuit

On December 23, 2014, Dane Boedigheimer announced that The Annoying Orange has not been funded by Collective Digital Studios since November 2014. This has led Boedigheimer to take legal action to get paid.[21] Due to this, the series has had a noticeably lower budget on YouTube since then, with less use of live-action footage of foods.

Controversy

On April 12, 2021, the Annoying Orange channel faced significant backlash on Twitter when it was announced by their official account that the original Annoying Orange video from 2010 would be remastered in 4K and be sold via the digital market on April 15 as an NFT. The Annoying Orange addressed the criticisms with: «NFTs do not increase Ethereum’s carbon emissions, and to those that might be angry because you think I’ve ‘sold out’, I’m sorry you feel that way. We are a very small animation studio that work very hard to do what we love—which is make silly videos that make people smile». The announcement Tweet was later deleted and the video was eventually uploaded to YouTube.[22][23]

Merchandise

Collective merchandise

Since late 2011, The Collective has produced many accessories, toys and clothing with toymaker The Bridge Direct and clothing retailers such as JCPenney, Shopko and rue21.[24] The Collective also announced a partnership in December of that year with costume manufacturer Rubie’s Costume Company to produce children and adult Halloween costumes and accessories featuring characters such as Orange, Pear, Marshmallow, and Midget Apple from the web series.[25]

Plushies

In 2020, Annoying Orange partnered with Warren James, LLC and has produced Memory-foam plushie toys depicting every major character. The inventory of plush toys includes Orange,[26] Pear,[27] Midget Apple,[28] Marshmallow,[29] Grandpa Lemon,[30] Grapefruit,[31] and Passion Fruit.[32] The toys can be purchased on the official website individually, or in a bundle of seven.[33][34]

Television series

The Annoying Orange got a TV series on Cartoon Network, and it ran from 2012 to 2014 with two seasons and a total of 60 episodes.

Games

Carnage

A video game developed by Bottle Rocket Apps under the name Kitchen Carnage was released for the iPod Touch and iPhone on April 7, 2011. The game was later released in HD for the iPad on May 6, 2011, and for Android devices on October 14, 2011. The Christmas version of the game was released in December 2011 and the free version of the game, Kitchen Carnage Lite, was released March 2, 2012.

The game aims to throw different items across the kitchen into a series of blenders before the time runs out. The player is given apples and bananas at the start. When the second level is reached, tomatoes (replaced by baseballs for the 64-bit version) are added. Level 3 adds cantaloupes, level 4 pineapples, level 5 strawberries and level 6 adds Fred FiggleCorns. Kitchen Carnage was renamed to Carnage in 2021.

Splatter Up

Annoying Orange: Splatter Up is the second game by the Annoying Orange, after Carnage. The game is based on baseball, and the player slides a finger while a fruit enters the home plate. The faster the player slides, the farther he gets. The game sprites are the same as the Carnage game, the only one that does not appear in this game but appear in Carnage is Fred Figglecorn.

Skewerz

Skewerz is the most recent Annoying Orange game. The player is given fruits and vegetables to collect and they need to catch them in the skewer. When collected, you can send them to a blender called the Roomba.

This article may be overly annoying!

You may want to edit it so it’s not so annoying.

Or better yet, avoid reading it unless you want to die!

Hey, hey bob! hey bob, hey!

That is one annoying orange!

Captain Obvious on the Annoying Orange.

You’re an apple!

The Annoying Orange on you.

Hey apple, suck my dick.

The Annoying Orange and Bill Gates on Apple

The Annoying Orange is an annoying orange. But to be specific, it is the fruit of Satan. It has annoyed Youtube to the point where it had been forced to give the Annoying Orange its own Internet series.

Bouncywikilogo.gif

Plot[edit | edit source]

Most episodes of the series take place in a deserted kitchen in Hell. Sinners are sent there incarnated as talking fruits and vegetables, and are tortured by Annoying Orange as punishment. The typical episode ends with the Orange’s victim being knifed, blended, barbecued, sat on by an elephant, or killed in any other horrible manner while the Orange lives to annoy another day. And also, he annoys just about everyone, except for the More Annoying Orange. He also hates being called an apple.
Feeling any ‘cheddar’ now?
Hope to ‘ketchup’ with you!

Characters[edit | edit source]

Orange[edit | edit source]

The protagonist and main villain of the series, Orange is the A-hole who annoys the living shit out of his neighbors. He was grown from a tree in some guy’s backyard and was dropped 30 feet to the ground. Orange found himself incapable of masturbating, due to his lack of a penis. So Orange makes up for his pointless life by tormenting people with his annoying methods of torture. He is 18 years old.

Pear[edit | edit source]

Orange’s best friend/victim, Pear.

Orange’s buddy and most frequent victim at the same time. Pear is secretly attracted to men, which is why he can’t attract any chicks. He is also the most boring thing in the whole kitchen. Pear is forced to hang around with Orange because he’s the only one stupid enough to consider him a friend. Pear also has a huge crush on Orange, but is too weak and cowardly to ask him out. You may be wondering how he could handle all that time he spends with that freak. Let’s just say he does a lot of heavy drinking. He is 19 years old.

Passion Fruit[edit | edit source]

Pretty much the only female in the show. Orange is madly in love with her and has married her nine times, but they always divorce (you know why). For this reason, Pear is jealous of her but couldn’t resist looking at her because she is extremely hot… for a fruit… She is 18 years old.

Midget Apple[edit | edit source]

He prefers to be called «Little Apple«, but nobody gives a crap.Midget Apple has no personality beyond that.Sometimes he is in the background performing Chinese Water Torture to pear as an EpIc ChAlLeNgE just so The Kids could enjoy it.He is 7 years old.

Marshmallow[edit | edit source]

It’s probably a kitten reincarnated as a marshmallow with big ass eyes and a high-pitch voice. Like Orange, it is also incredibly annoying and virtually indestructible. And sometimes deadly. it seems to have an abnormal fetish to unicorns and is addicted to rainbows (Like You). My theory is that, when it was alive, someone jammed a stick into its brain and roasted it over the fires of hell. That’s the reason why nobody knows his/her’s Gender. He is 9 years old.

Grapefruit[edit | edit source]

Also goes by Apefruit, Snapefruit, or Rapefruit. He’s a fatass bully who used to be married to Passion Fruit, until Orange came along and screwed things up. Since then, Grapefruit has been attempting to molest Passion while no one was looking, but always ends up getting pwnd. Grapefruit was meant to be the main hero, but they decided that the show didn’t deserve a hero because it was so goddamn annoying. He is 20 years old.

Grandpa Lemon[edit | edit source]

Your usual old guy who sleeps and farts all day. He is one of the few characters immune to Orange’s annoying powers. Because he is more annoying than him. He is 250 years old.

Knife[edit | edit source]

The #1 cause of death to most characters. Knife is actually a pussy being controlled by a giant Satanic hand who likes killing things. Orange never gets knifed because the giant hand is in love with him. He is 27 years old.

Liam the Leprechaun[edit | edit source]

Liam is not actually a Leprechaun, but an abnormally small drunk Irish guy with magic powers. Orange wouldn’t give him back his Pot O’ Gold, so he went Ape-Shit Crazy and killed himself with a horseshoe. He is 37 years old.

Family Guy Comparison[edit | edit source]

It is often thought that many of the characters in this show were later knifed and reincarnated as Family Guy characters, shown below:

  • Orange — Peter Griffin
  • Pear — Brian Griffin
  • Passion Fruit — Lois Griffin
  • Marshmallow (and yes, its a guy) — Chris Griffin
  • Midget Apple (with machine gun) — Stewie Griffin
  • Grapefruit — Glenn Quagmire (They can get girls but can’t hang on to them)
  • Grandpa Lemon — Herbert
  • Various apples that gets annoyed and knifed frequently — Meg Griffin

TV Series[edit | edit source]

It was recently announed that The Annoying Orange would soon become an animated TV series on Cartoon Network. The writers of Annoying Orange feel that they must annoy a larger scale audience in order to bring the world to its knees. After several meetings, a decision was made to move the «show» to television so that it could follow other cartoons in their quest to idiotize the minds of little kids.

Controversy[edit | edit source]

The Annoying Orange is one of the most controversial things in Finland, and to a lesser extent in America. The few surviving critics say the show is so outstandingly annoying that it might cause your head to explode. According to scientists, The Annoying Orange is more annoying than Crazy Frog, Beavis & Butthead, Poop throwing monkeys, and American Politicians put together. They also suggest that you don’t show it to children, or they may develop nightmares, seizures, AIDS, scurvy, the desire to jump off a cliff, or at the very least, a phobia of anything orange.

What’s more annoying than Annoying Orange?

The Annoying Orange is an animated web series hosted on YouTube, involving a talking orange who is annoying. The videos usually revolve around Orange and his friends meeting a fruit, vegetable, or some sort of Animate Inanimate Object, as Orange proceeds to heckle them to the very brink of madness, right until the character meets a sudden and grisly end.

The show is created by Dane Boedigheimer, better known on the web as Daneboe, who had, along with his company Gagfilms, previously made several videos about talking food, including some for Jib Jab.

The show had an immense and unexpected popularity, with his first video reaching several million views. After noticing what a hit his creation turned to be, Daneboe started posting new videos more regularly, and at present a new episode is out every Friday.

In summer 2012, The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange, a TV series, premiered on Cartoon Network to successful ratings. After airing two seasons, the show went on hiatus after the second season ended in May 2014, and in December 2014 Daneboe confirmed that the series had been cancelled. A rumored third season for May 2016 did not show up.

There was a spinoff, Liam The Leprechaun, starring the eponymous Transplanted character until all of the videos on the show’s YouTube account were deleted for unknown reasons. There’s even a chatbot. Also, there are a couple of games: the Licensed Game Kitchen Carnage (which also has HD and Lite versions), Splatter Up! (also with free versions and Cartoon Network’s Web Game Pinball.

    These videos provide examples of:

    • A Dog Named «Dog»: Zig-zagged. Most of the characters are named after their species, with some exceptions being Passion Fruit’s sister Mandy, and a grape named Janey.
    • A.I. Is a Crapshoot: In the song Robot Power, Orange’s Robot 3000 short circuits itself and tries to destroy the camera.
    • Anvil on Head: In Fortune Cookie and its «Sitcom Version» counterpart, the radish from the Misfortune Gang gets crushed by an anvil, as predicted by Miss Fortune Cookie.
    • April Fools’ Plot: Annoying Orange 2.0!!! turns out to be one of these.
    • Art Shift:
    • Auto-Tune: In Orange gets Autotuned, Kitchen Intruder (Bed Intruder Spoof) with AutoTune remix!, Full Kitchen Intruder Song (free MP3 download!), and The Digitour Livestream April 8th.
    • Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever:
    • Battle Rapping: Both Epic Rap Battles of Kitchenry videos.
    • Big Ball of Violence: Happens near the end of Gumbrawl, when the Gummy Worms, Gummy Bears, Chewing Gums and the Gumdrops get into one during a brawl, in which all of them end up getting stuck after the dust clears.
    • Big Damn Heroes: In Kitchen Intruder (Bed Intruder Spoof) with AutoTune remix!, Orange is stated to have rescued Nancy Nectarine from Knife by spitting seeds at him until he left.
    • Big «NO!»:
    • Big «OMG!»: Lemon does this in »Wasssabi‘ when Orange tells him that Wassabi is here.
    • Biting-the-Hand Humor: YouTube from YouTube Meets Daneboe and The Annoying Orange! being a ditz.
    • Bland-Name Product: Carco from Annoying Orange vs. Gecko (Geico Spoof).
    • Breaking the Fourth Wall:
    • Book Ends: With a few exceptions, the ask orange videos start and end with the kitchen exploding.
    • Brick Joke:
      • In Ask Orange #7: FUS RO DAH!, a boomerang made of boogers flies in and hits Midget Apple and Pear, much to their disgust and Orange’s amusement. Then, at the end of the video, Orange responds to the last question regarding said boomerang, and suddenly it comes back and hits him too. He then admits that it is disgusting.
      • In the video, SKYDIVING!, when Apple threw the chainsaw up the sky, it came back and slice him at the end.
    • Bring My Brown Pants: In YouTube Meets Daneboe and The Annoying Orange!, YouTube sees Daneboe playing The Scary Maze Game and tries to get him to stop playing, claiming that Daneboe will «poop [his] pants.» When Daneboe shows up again at the end of the video…

YouTube: Did you, uh…did you poop your pants?

      Daneboe: Yeah.

    • Call-Back: Quite a few of them.
    • The Cameo: Orange has appeared in several videos by Daneboe and others. See the trivia sheet for a full list.
    • Captain Obvious: A literal one from «Gut Wrenching».
    • Celebrity Paradox: Daneboe and several other actors have appeared both as themselves and as different characters.
    • Celebrity Star: Nearly every episode puts the spotlight on a new character, and most of them are voiced by Special Guests (usually fellow YouTubers).
    • Censorship by Spelling: Invoked by Pear in Microwave Effect:

      Pear: Don’t mention the K-N-I-F-E.

Orange: The Kanifee? What’s a Kanifee?

    • Chainsaw Good: Charlie the Drunk Guinea Pig wields a chainsaw in in Saw 2: Annoying Death Trap.
    • Character as Himself: Some characters are listed as such at the ends of The Sitcom, Saw 2: Annoying Death Trap, Charlie the Unicorn Gets Annoyed, Annoying Orange: Annoying Valentines (Sitcom Version), Annoying Orange: Fortune Cookie SITCOM VERSION, Annoying Orange — Juice Boxing SITCOM VERSION, and The Voodoo You Do! SITCOM VERSION.
    • Cheek Copy: Done by Midget Apple in Wishful Thinking. It just looks like a circle though.
    • Chekhov M.I.A.: Pumpkin appears for the first time since Plumpkin at the end of Crabapple.
    • Chekhov’s Gun: The whistling pinwheel from Luck o’ the Irish shows up again in Back to the Fruiture. Oh, and it’s the most powerful weapon known to mankind. Or fruitkind.
    • Christmas Episode: There’s at least one Christmas video every year.
    • Chroma Key
    • Circling Birdies:
    • Clip Show: Annoying Orange Marketing Promo Reel, which features clips from The Annoying Orange, A Cheesy Episode, Orange Potter and the Deathly Apple, the Licensed iOS Game Annoying Orange: Kitchen Carnage & Jalapeño, plus Orange’s theme song from Theme Song Attack! & The Digitour Livestream April 8th.
    • Collective Groan/Lame Pun Reaction: The most frequent reaction to Orange’s jokes.
    • Comically Missing the Point:
      • In Annoying Orange vs. FRED!!!

Liam the Leprechaun: Today’s fight is a one-round no-holds-barred fight to the finish between the two most annoying entities in the world!

        Orange: Yay! Go Pear!

Pear: Dude, he’s not talking about me.

      • Orange seems to be prone to this. In Rap-berry:

Red Raspberry: There’s this orange, and he’s totally annoying…

Orange: Hmm… I wonder who he’s talking about!

      • Who says it’s only Orange? Annoying Orange Comedy Roast! gives us this gem:

Marshmallow: Yay! I think Orange is great!

Pear: Marshmallow, you’re doing it wrong.

    • Comic-Book Adaptation: Secret Agent Orange.
    • Continuity Nod: Quite a few of them.
    • Courtroom Episode: Food Court.
    • Cowboy Episode: Spaghetti West
    • Crapsack World: Beyond how mostly everyone is either stupid, a jerk, or a punching bag, you can die horribly at literally any moment.
    • Crossover: Plenty of them, both official and unofficial.
      • The official ones:
      • The unofficial ones:
    • Curse Cut Short:
    • A Day in the Limelight:
    • Dead Person Conversation: Between Orange Potter and Grandpa Lemondore in Orange Potter and the Deathly Apple.
    • Death as Comedy: Apart from wordplay, this is the series’ bread and butter.
    • Death by Cameo: Minor characters are routinely killed, whether they’re voiced by Daneboe himself or a Special Guest.
    • Death Montage: 1 BILLION KILLS!, a Fully Automatic Clip Show.
    • Deface of the Moon: At the end of Close Encounters of the Annoying Kind, the Moon is given Orange’s face (and it stays that way, as seen in Frankenfruit and Pear’s theme song from Theme Song Attack! & The Digitour Livestream April 8th). Strangely, Orange Through Time #3: EXTENDED EDITION! shows that the Moon had its own face in 1969.
    • Deliberately Monochrome: The silent, subtitled portion of Liam The Leprechaun — Passionfruit’s World Peace (Starring iJustine & Daneboe!)
    • Detonation Moon: At the end of FPS Orange.
    • Disney Death: Near the end of Wishful Thinking, Marshmallow is dropped into a mug of hot chocolate like in the Alternate Universe. As the others mourn their apparent demise, they suddenly emerge from the mug and compares the hot chocolate to «a hot tub full of love».
    • Double Entendre: Annoying Orange typically uses this to annoy people.
      • Tomatoes stating that they’re fruits.
    • Duck Season, Rabbit Season: Orange pulls this on Grapefruit at the beginning of KitchenMon #4: Rattle Royale!!.

Grapefruit: Must I explain this to you for a thousandth time? I do not have a tiny face, I have a normal-sized face and a large body. That’s a totally different deal, bro!

      Orange: Is not!

      Grapefruit: Is too!

      Orange: Is not!

      Grapefruit: Is too!

      Orange: Is too!

Grapefruit: Is not! Wait a second…

Orange: Uh oh, Grapefruit, looks like you pulled an about face! (laughs)

    • Dynamic Entry: Knife and Squash’s usual method of entry, though neither of them mean any harm. In Knife’s case it’s because of humans wielding him, but Squash just drops out of nowhere.
    • Earth-Shattering Kaboom: Happens in a Flashback from Daneboe Exposed #9: Daneboe Apocalypse. It was caused by Daneboe dividing five by zero on a calculator.
    • Easy Amnesia: Orange gets it in The Amnesiac Orange. After Orange recovers, Midget Apple gets it.
    • Even the Subtitler Is Stumped:
    • Every Episode Ending: Almost every episode ends with the fruit/thing he is annoying being cut or destroyed in some way.
    • Evil Gloating: Big Rock Candy Monster from the High Fructose Adventures episode «Marshmalia».
    • Eye Scream:
    • Faceship: Grapefruit has one in the Previously on… clips from Previously On.
    • Fantastic Racism: The titular orange absolutely hates apples to the core. No pun intended.
    • «Fantastic Voyage» Plot: In one episode Orange and the other fruits are shrunk down and sent inside Nerville on a minituarized fruit cart to remove a laser that has been inplanted in his brain by the brocolli aliens. It Makes Just As Much Sense In Context.
    • A Fate Worse Than Death: Cheese from A Cheesy Episode is grateful for being shredded as he won’t have to hear the Orange’s sour puns. It doesn’t work, however, as Cheese is still alive and next to Orange even after being turned into pizza.
    • Fauxshadow: The ending of Going Walnuts. Viewers will expect the previously mentioned nutcracker to be used on Walnut, but instead a squirrel shows up out of nowhere to eat him.
    • Flanderization: This happened to the characters as the series progressed. For example, Orange, as if he wasn’t annoying enough, because even more annoying, with constant uses of Toilet Humor, Gasshole, and TNT in addition to his usual puns. Meanwhile, Pear went from being somewhat able to tolerate Orange’s humor (if only a little bit) to having absolutely no patience whatsoever, and Grapefruit became more full of himself as well as unluckier.
    • Flashback
    • Foreshadowing:
      • The bit of dramatic music that indicates that whatever Orange is talking to is going to get…well, you know.
      • In The Exploding Orange, Kiwi is reading a newspaper with the headline Gorilla Escapes From Local Zoo. The gorilla shows up near the end of the episode to eat two bananas that had been hanging around for most of the episode as the characters of the day.
    • For the Funnyz: No matter how tragic it gets, Orange will try to lighten the mood with a joke.
    • Fourth-Wall Mail Slot: Daneboe Exposed #1: Nipple4Nipple, SHOUT OUT SUNDAY: Episode 14, Daneboe Exposed #5: Annoying Orange Exposed, Daneboe Exposed #6: HACKED!!!, Daneboe Exposed #7: THUMBS!, ASK ZGW #5: Bacon Bwains!!!, Ask Orange #1, Ask Orange #2: Toast Busters!, Daneboe Exposed #9: Daneboe Apocalypse, Ask Orange #3: A-TOY-ING ORANGE!, ASK AARON ANYTHING #1, ASK ZGW: Highway To Bwains, and Ask Orange #4: Master Chef!
    • Fractured Fairy Tale: In «Once Upon an Orange«, Orange interferes with the endings of «The Three Little Pigs», «Jack and the Beanstalk», and «Hansel and Gretel».

      • Orange’s appearances in some of Daneboe’s other videos.
      • All of the Mustachios’ appearances (except in Mystery of the Mustachios).
      • The «If you saw this, type ______ in the comments!» annotations.
    • Fully Automatic Clip Show: 1 BILLION KILLS!, a Death Montage.
    • Funny Fan Voice: Orange speaks into a fan to imitate Darth Vader in Viral Vote and Rolling in the Dough.
    • Fun with Acronyms: At the end of SHOUT OUT SUNDAY: Episode 14, Orange points out that Brittani Louise Taylor’s initials are ‘BLT! Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomato!’
    • Furry Confusion:
    • Got Me Doing It:
      • In Plants vs Zombies: Mini Game #10, Midget Apple accidentally calls himself Midget Apple instead of Little Apple.

Midget Apple: AAUGH! I called myself a midget! Oh, no…oh, I’m a victim of my own crimes…

      • In Annoying Orange 2.0!!!, Midget Apple almost calls himself Midget Apple instead of Little Apple again.
    • Groin Attack:
      • In The Viral Video Kit, the eponymous kit includes an entire collection of groin shots.

Announcer: See guys get hit in the nuts with baseballs, footballs, garbage cans, toilets, manhole covers, and the Annoying Orange!

      Orange: Whoa! That was nuts!

      • In The Leprechaun Trap, the «shoehorn» does this to Liam the Leprechaun.
    • Guns Akimbo: One of the Previously on… clips from Previously On (glimpsed in Spudow Rocket! — DANEBOEVLOG) has Orange firing a pair of machine guns at a robot.
    • Hair-Trigger Temper: The titular protagonist of the episode, Angry Orange, who, unlike most of the obnoxious, fun-loving oranges depicted in the series, is a serious, short-tempered Jerkass who despises Orange and Captain Obvious.
    • Halloween Episode: There’s at least one Halloween video every year.
    • Helium Speech: Pear in Happy Birthday! after a balloon flies in his face.
    • Here We Go Again!
    • Hiccup Hijinks: The Exploding Orange reveals that if a fruit has the hiccups for too long, they explode. Then Orange gets the hiccups…
    • Hilarious Outtakes: A few outtake videos are set «behind the scenes», but most actually are set behind the scenes.
    • Historical Longevity Joke: Orange loves making jokes about Grandpa Lemon’s age.
      • In «The Day The Store Stood Still» Grandpa Lemon is recounting a story that involves the beginning of the universe, Orange adds «you were in preschool».
      • Subverted in «Founding Fruits» where Orange jokes Grandpa Lemon only knew the history of the fruit version of the American Revolution because he was alive during that time, only to be shocked when Grandpa Lemon reveals he was indeed alive back then and is actually the still living Benjamin Franklemon, making him over 200 years old.
    • Hollywood Voodoo: In The Voodoo You Do! and The Voodoo You Do! SITCOM VERSION.
    • Human Cannonball: Well, not human, but Midget Apple gets shot out of a cannon in Naval Orange.
    • Humans Are Cthulhu: Almost every episode ends with the orange’s victim being cut up and served—or otherwise being horrifically and uncontrollably removed—by a human (Daneboe, possibly playing himself)
    • Hurricane of Puns:
    • Hyperventilation Bag: Referenced by the bananas in The Exploding Orange.
    • I Can See My House from Here: Said by Marshmallow when they land on Lime’s head in Happy Birthday!
    • In-Character Let’s Play: The Annoying Orange gaming channel features the cast of the series playing actual games as their respective characters.
    • Insistent Terminology:
      • It’s Little Apple, not Midget Apple!
      • The Mustachios from Mystery of the Mustachios are Mustachios, not Pistachios!
    • Interactive Fiction: Liam The Leprechaun — Double Rainbow, Triple Rainbow, MONSTER RAINBOW!!! [Interactive] and its three Multiple Endings Liam The Leprechaun — Liam Bows To The Monster Rainbow [Interactive], Liam The Leprechaun — Liam Uses Magic To Destroy The Monster Rainbow! [Interactive] and Liam The Leprechaun — Liam Sings To The Monster Rainbow! [Interactive].
    • Interquel: Liam The Leprechaun — Liam Vs. Grapefruit! (Characters From The Annoying Orange!) is set immediately after Luck o’ the Irish.
    • Interspecies Romance:
    • It’s a Wonderful Plot: Wishful Thinking.
    • Jetpack: One of the clips from Mystery Guest shows Orange using one.

This article is about the main character of the series we all know and love. For the web-series, Look no further than Real Annoying Orange.

    «I’m not annoying, I’m an Orange!»
    ―The Annoying Orange

    «YO WUT U TALKIN’ BOUT?»

    -The Annoying Orange

Orange (also known as the The Annoying Orange or Real Annoying Orange, commonly abbreviated as AO) is the main character of The Annoying Orange series and in most Annoying Orange episodes, as well as the show’s lead protagonist. He is portrayed by the former Minnesota film student Dane Boedigheimer, the chief investment officer of Gagfilms. Orange has made appearances in almost every episode since the start of the series on Friday, October 9, 2009, which is also his birthday. Orange has yellow teeth (although in Orange After Dentist and Totally Dental, he gets them whitened), grey eyes, and a braying laugh. Episodes are characterized by his taunting and annoying his victims-to-be with his adolescent behavior that frequently includes burping, pestering, puns, and play-on-words. These actions often infuriate the other character to the point where they start yelling at him to «shut up», only to have Orange warn them of their impending catastrophe: evisceration with a chef’s knife, a blender, or other types of death. He has a very famous quote, which comes after someone calls him something that he thinks he isn’t: «No, I’m not. I’m an orange!». Boedigheimer describes the character as a composite of people in his life, saying «everyone knows somebody like him: They don’t listen, they are annoying, and at the same time they are kind of lovable».

    Background

Orange is always depicted as an exasperating anthropomorphic orange. He is the central character in The Annoying Orange series, though he was not always the main character in some episodes.

Orange is disliked by just about every character who dies, because he constantly heckles them in many ways, such as spitting seeds, mistaking them for other things, and making childish noises. In the episode More Annoying Orange, another Orange comes and actually annoys Orange which is in contrast to what it is originally.

It is unknown why Orange gets such joy from annoying people, but one possibility is that any other orange is like that. Another possibility is that he just likes puns and jokes, and doesn’t pay attention to how people are being annoyed, according to Passion Fruit.

He currently stands as a member of Banana Monocle, a former co-announcer for The Hungry Games and Fruitbowl XLVI, current lead member of the Lords of Fruitbush, former lead singer and member of Puns n’ Roses, former monarch of the Land of the Yellow Oranges, Jigsaw’s former apprentice, a special guest on VidCon, an employee at Daneco, a former CEO, a former patient of Dr. Bananas’, a formerly possessed supervillain, a secret agent along with Passion Fruit, a future wife of Passion Fruit’s and father of a younger orange, a former apprentice of Sherleek Holmes’, a detective (in Dr. Strange Plum, The Further Adventures of Sherleek Holmes and Cereal Killer), a former member of the Fruit-Tang Clan, a tribute in Hungry Fruit Games, the current spokesman for the gameshow Foodsplosion, a competitor in a kart and goat race, one of Midget Apple’s partners in his detective career, a former student at FVMS a worker at the fast food chain, DaneBurgers, a member of the Orange Party (he succeeded Donald Trunk) and the current owner of the Orangecraft server.

    Personality

Orange is annoying, optimistic, dim-witted, usually cheerful, and witty he also loves to crack annoying puns. He almost always blunders things for their color. For example, Orange thought Tomato was Apple because they were both of red color, and he thought Pumpkin was an orange because he was of an orange color. Although in Previously On, Passion said Orange was colorblind. In reality, Orange is very kind and innocent at heart, because if he really likes somebody, he will try to think of something that will make them like him a little bit. As revealed in More Annoying Orange, Orange is actually considered very mild for his species, and he is considered the most annoying thing that most of the characters have ever met because they probably have never met an orange before. He probably just tells puns to make him feel better, as he has seen a lot of people get minced up, and gets upset when one of his best friends is knifed. His act of being dim-witted helps him get out of bad situations, as shown in Annoying Saw. If he gets extremely offended or hates somebody, he will be purposely annoying. When he sees someone get killed (usually by evisceration from Knife), he will usually watch in horror and sometimes scream, but if the person is someone he loathes, he will laugh at their disbursement. Sometimes it happens that Orange demonstrates his little education by mistaking a fruit for another and continuing to say that a fruit is another like it happened to Pumpkin (Orange thought it was another tremendous orange). Orange’s innocent and playful antics have garnered him both a lot of friends and rivals.

    Biography

Orange grew up on a farm, along with Passion, but he was so annoying that the other fruits kicked him out, launching him into the sky. He landed in the kitchen, and that was when he met some of his friends.

Orange was put onto the kitchen counter sometime before the series and had been annoying Apple for some time before the first episode was recorded. He has met oodles of fruits and vegetables and usually infuriates them, and some survive (much to their horror). He is best friends with Pear, who usually doesn’t want to admit it. Later in the series, he meets Passion Fruit, who he has some feelings for. Passion thinks of him as a friend most of the time, however, she also has great feelings for him. Orange had also met Grapefruit, who immediately was hostile towards him do to his offensive and childlike remarks (an example being Orange mistaking Grapefruit for a «chubby orange»). Grapefruit was annoyed by Orange until he was knifed (like many other characters in the series). The same thing happened when he had met Grandpa Lemon a few months later. However, Orange was getting annoyed by him due to his hearing impairment and sleeping disorder caused by his advanced age. Orange later met Midget Apple, who was originally planned to be a joke filler for the episode Crabapple. Since then, Orange has been making fun of his size multiple times. About a month and a half later, he met Marshmallow. He first met him while he was strapped to Jigsaw’s death trap. Jigsaw wanted Orange to become his apprentice and literally annoy Marshmallow to death. However, Jigsaw’s plan backfired as Orange began annoying him. Eventually, Jigsaw gave up and went to seek a new occupation, and Orange ended up rescuing Marshmallow from the death trap. On the 29th day of October in 2010, Grapefruit had returned to seek revenge on Orange as the head of a creature known as Frankenfruit. However, Grapefruit’s attempt failed as most of the food used to construct Frankenfruit was eaten by the Halloweenie. However, he, along with Grandpa Lemon, Gourd, and Carrot, was one of the few foods to survive. When Christmas eve rolled around, Orange had seen Pear kissing who he thought was Passion Fruit. This made Orange with that he was never born. However, due to Orange being a main character in the series, it is shown in Wishful Thinking that he is a major part of a lot of people’s lives. As of mid-2012, he, along with Pear, Midget Apple, Marshmallow, Passion Fruit, Grapefruit, Apple, Coconut, and Grandpa Lemon live on a fruit cart in Daneboe’s Grocery Market part-time. This created the TV series known as The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange. Orange currently lives in the kitchen along with many other foods, objects, and small or miniaturized organisms. He and his friends are frequently visited by new guests of the kitchen, who usually get injured or deceased by some means. He and his friends currently have their own YouTube channels where they upload «Let’s Plays» and other videos starring themselves. He is momentarily visited by recurring characters such as Liam the Leprechaun, and still visits the fruit cart at Daneboe’s from time to time (at least until Monday, March 17, 2014 when it was destroyed). However, one by one, his friend’s channels died, and Midget Apple’s was turned into the main Annoying Orange Gaming channel. They focused on the main and gaming channels, making how2s, gaming vids, and challenges. They passed 10 million subscribers, and the Gold Play Button was replaced with the Diamond Play Button. Both were annoyed by Orange. Orange also recently revealed his backstory, along with how he feels for Passion. He’s made many friends, Gaming Grape, Nude Dude, Baby Carrot, and Dr Bananas, to name a few. Orange continues to annoy random fictional or real characters, a lot, possibly through the means of dimension-hopping? In any case, one thing’s for sure, he’s not leaving the kitchen anytime soon!

    Relationships

    Friends

    Pear

Orange constantly thinks of Pear as his best friend. Pear has said numerous times that Orange is wrong and they are not best friends. Pear is constantly annoyed by him, like most of the other members of the kitchen crew. Pear seems to stick around, though and seems to mildly enjoy Orange’s company sometimes. However, to pear, orange can be a pain in the butt of the worst kind, interrupting him while pear’s reading, and ruining HOW2 and storytime videos, as well as constantly dropping millions of things on Pear.

    Midget Apple

Orange and Little Apple (or Midget Apple as he usually calls him) got off to a rough start. Orange would constantly call Little apple Midget apple, and this would make Little apple furious. However, it is clear that they do consider each other friends, as Little Apple seems to enjoy Orange’s company- when Orange’s not making size jokes that is!

    Marshmallow

Happy and go-lucky, Marshmallow gets along with our annoying anthropomorphic orange. The two have become close friends over time, and while they might not hang out very much, they never get into arguments!

    Grapefruit

If Orange and Little Apple got off to a rocky start, then Orange and Grapefruit were that times 10! They were enemies, hating each other, fighting over Passion Fruit, but then, eventually, they learned to put up with each other, occasionally being civil to each other. Now the two of them do somewhat enjoy each other’s company, but still aren’t fully friends with the other.

    Love interest Passion Fruit

Orange has had an unreturned crush on Passion Fruit since the two of them met, if only he knew that she felt the same way, but alas, he doesn’t. Surprisingly, she doesn’t know he has a crush on her either, but everyone else in the kitchen knows. Orange constantly denies his crush on Passion Fruit, but recently revealed to her that he has a crush on her in Ask Orange #62: Orange Goes Super Saiyan.

    Family

    Mom and Pop

Orange’s mother is quite annoying as well (or is she?), she has two forms, annoying in the YouTube series, and not annoying in the TV show. Pop is the same way! Either way, they seem to love Orange, and he loves them back, as only a Son can love his parents.

    Sis

Orange loves his sister, and she loves him too! The two of them constantly like to annoy other foods, and although Orange doesn’t always understand sister orange’s interests, the two of them get along great!

    Babbling & MOTORBOATING

    Main article: Babbling
    Main article: Motorboat

To make Orange’s famous babbling or nya-nya-nya-ing, Orange hangs his tongue on his left side on his mouth and bites down on it. He sometimes goes on the right side. Other characters, like Marshmallow, Midget Apple, and Pear also have a tongue sound, too, but Orange is famous for his as it is annoying to almost everyone in the kitchen

The only character who had a more annoying tongue sound than Orange is Zoom, and when Orange drank Zoom's liquid, Orange's tongue sound began to be similar to Zoom's, much more aggravating. Orange also likes to make raspberry sounds with his lips, imitating the sound made by a Motorboat engine. Orange often motorboats in his sleep as an alternative to snoring.
